2009 Founded in Melbourne, Australia

Kenway Consulting was created in Melbourne in early 2009 — at the onset of the Global Financial Crisis — to address the shortage of local, highly skilled and professional search and selection services for the built environment in Australia.

More than a decade on, we remain a boutique consultancy by choice. Our intention is not to dominate a marketplace with numbers, but to find strategic solutions for our valued clients using refined search techniques. We offer two complementary services to our clients: Kenway Search and Kenway Project Management.

Service 01

Kenway Search

Executive search and selection for the built environment Australia-wide — encompassing civil infrastructure and commercial construction.

With an extensive national and international network, we provide select clients the quality and concentration that the larger recruitment firms have lost touch with. Our strategy is to nurture sustainable relationships among our clients and candidates alike, and walk alongside professionals as their careers continue to develop.

We enjoy partnering with top-calibre professionals where mutual ongoing success is nourished.

Methodologies We employ refined search and headhunting skills for executive placements, and apply the same rigour to specialised and technical roles where candidate skill shortages exist. For non-executive and support roles we mine our extensive network and databases to find the right candidates against the position criteria, culture and strategic goals of our client.

Service 02

Kenway Project Management

Contract project management services for ongoing, fixed-term and ad-hoc project requirements — providing suitably skilled and qualified project, contracts and site management personnel.

We have strong experience in providing individuals and teams to carry on projects, mediate conflicts, improve delivery performance and turn around distressed projects. All personnel supplied can be vetted by our clients prior to commencement.
